Paradise Queen Bees is a family-owned business specializing in breeding and shipping high-quality, naturally mated Italian-Carniolan queen bees to beekeepers across the U.S.
2. Where are your queen bees raised?
Our queens are raised in Hilo, Hawaii, where the warm climate allows for year-round queen production and high-quality mating conditions.
3. Why should I choose your queen bees?
Our Italian-Carniolan queens are selectively bred for gentleness, productivity, and resistance to common bee diseases. They are naturally mated and carefully inspected to ensure strong genetics and excellent performance in your hive.

4. How do I place an order?

5. Do you ship nationwide?
Yes! We ship queen bees throughout the U.S. using UPS expedited shipping to ensure their safe arrival.
6. When will my order be shipped?
Orders are shipped on Monday, Tuesday to minimize transit time. You will receive tracking information once your queens are on the way.
7. How are the queen bees packaged for shipping?
Each queen is shipped in a ventilated cage with a few attendant bees and a food source to keep them nourished during transit.
8. What should I do when my queen arrives?
Upon arrival, inspect the package to ensure the queen is alive and healthy. Keep her in a cool, dark place until you’re ready to introduce her to the hive.
Queen Bee Care & Introduction
9. How do I introduce a new queen to my hive?
The queen should be introduced slowly using a queen cage. Place the cage in the hive and allow the colony a few days to accept her before releasing her.
10. What should I do if my hive rejects the new queen?
If the hive is aggressive toward the new queen, it may be necessary to reintroduce her using a longer introduction process or check for the presence of another queen in the colony.
11. How long does it take for a new queen to start laying eggs?
Once accepted by the colony, the queen will typically start laying eggs within a few days to a week.

12. What is your live arrival guarantee?
We guarantee live arrival for all shipped queen bees. If your queen arrives dead, contact us immediately with a photo, and we will provide a replacement or refund based on our policy.
13. Do you offer bulk discounts?

14. Can I pick up my order in person?
